Today we officially started set construction for The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. I’m excited to say that my build team has more than doubled from last year.
Today’s inaugural session was a bit of trial by fire when we moved a couple thousand pounds of platforms, flats, and plywood from ramp room storage, down this 50 yard hall, and onto the stage.
The work isn’t glamorous. Its just heavy and dirty. But there’s something very rewarding about that kind of labor.
In less than nine weeks these stacks of flats and platforms will transform into Nottingham Castle and Sherwood Forest.
It’s going to be awesome! Just wait until next week when we start building.
